In this episode we investigate Tombstone land in which the complainant’s right to fair and honest dealings was violated.
Mr Micheal Sebola,54 purchased a tombstone for his grandmother who passed away 1987 as a symbol of showing his appreciation to her for all her efforts in raising him. On the 08th July 2011 he made his first payment towards the tombstone of which he continued paying until all the amount was paid off on the 15th December 2012.
He was promised by the supplier that by the end of February 2013 the tombstone would be erected. He was told that Mr Jonas who is the one in charge for the tombstone erection will be the person to make sure that the job is done. He spoke with Jonas on several junctures but he could not deliver as per their agreement. The family wished to unveil the tombstone on the same day as his mother’s (which his sister bought) and that dream was deterred by the callous supplier who failed him for quite some time.
Mr Sebola asked Speak Out to intervene as he had been taken for a ride and the only thing he wants now is to receive what is rightfully his from Tombstone Land.
